The unmistakably rich character of (Eucalyptus patens) Black Butt honey delivers a full, satisfying flavour, and has naturally occurring consistent high levels of anti-bacterial activity. The honey is dark in colour, and similar to Jarrah - it stays liquid for a long time. Black Butt trees grow in moist soil, usually near rivers and creeks, in the Jarrah forests.
